Hi Dianna, I can relate to your desire to serve your family. I used to grumble about the messes I cleaned up from perfectly cabable people. It was during one of my quiet times that I felt God nudging me toward a radical change. Instead of grumbles I began praying blessings, giving thanks and sencerely seeking to become a servant to those I love. It’s been an exciting journey this change of heart I thank God for leading me on it. Now I have a new visual with the servant towl idea thank you and God bless.

Prayer to me is talking to God. Sometimes I kneel and offer those “heartfelt” prayers. Other times I conversate while driving or working. I have learned to specify and make accurate by praying “in the Bible.” Lord, teach me to always forgive, teach me to, for starters, a desire to love others. Lord, as I get ready for work today give me the wisdom and the conduct and the words today so that I can be a light, a witness to others at work so that someone will repent and receive you, Lord. Chuck Swindoll gave a good outline list of what prayer should be. CONFESSION. INTERCESSION. PETITION. THANKSGIVING. PRAISE.

That Crazy Love book is fantastic! I’m so glad that your Life Group is also enjoying it. It really does help us to reevaluate our relationship with God. Something we should all do on a regular basis. Thanks Rick for your faithfulness and encouragement.

The new testament gives a list of the “fruit of the spirit,” and love is the first one listed. I picture love as the basket that holds all other eight fruits. Between this scripture, Gal. 5.22 and I cor. 13, the love chapter, I personally am called to love as God loves. It is not easy come for some of us. I have to focus and with much prayer develop this attitude of love. One interesting note that I picked up on is that I cor. 13 gives also a list of things that love is not.

Thank you so much for sharing about the greatness of God’s love. I was reading this same verse earlier this morning and was overcome with the amazing love that God has for each of us. He is an awesome God that is so loving to His precious children.
